Unit Six Projects

Plan

- I made the pot using a coil method

- After coiling it, I smoothed it out and poked holes in the bottom to make it a plant pot

- I then formed the door, windows, and other decorations and scored and slipped them on

- I underglazed most of the color before firing it

- I finished the color by glazing the door green and clear glazing the rest of the pot

Reflection

I am not happy with this piece. This was also my donation piece and the strict due date caused it to be very rushed, and I think it shows. I really liked my idea with this project, and I am not satisfied with the end product. Additionally, it has a large crack in the bottom. However, I think I did a good job with the initial structure, as this was my first time actually coil building
